Refiners are keen to ensure transactions are completed during the “wind-down” period allowed for pre-sanctioned cargoes. This includes important things like their Aadhaar and passport details, as well as their names, phone numbers, and where they live. This information is now being sold online, which is really bad because it could lead to serious problems for those people.  Media reports suggested that the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) database might have been compromised, given the extensive scope and sensitive nature of the information. Queries sent to ICMR were not answered at press time. “Securing assets is of importance for businesses in today’s world.
